Indicators for sustainable management

Alongside of the periodical reports, every six years an evalution is being held. This report focuses on the evaluation of three main functions: naturality, safety and accessibility. For this, it uses seven indicators for sustainable coast management. An evaluation method describes the way in which each indicator can be evaluated. Within the method each indicator is individually substantiated by means of a pyramid structure which holds relevant key parameters, calculating parameters and explanatory parameters. The evaluation method is a dynamic document and is revisited after every evaluation report.

The Project Group Evaluation and Reporting coordinates the execution of the evaluation reports. Below are the past evaluations:

 

 

T2009The report describes the reference situation of the Scheldt estuary before the third widening of the Scheldt.
